Example

A "Delete ASN" request comes from vendor, which is forwarded to the warehouse management system, and a Temp ID created. After deletion in the WM system, an acknowledging deletion request is sent back. Using this check ensures that the ID which has been deleted is the correct one, and the "Delete ASN" process is completed successfully.
