Purpose

You can use this report to identify historical batches in the cross-plant batch management entries (MCH1) that cannot be integrated, and to update the additional fields with the latest information from materials and plants.

Integration

For the correction of non-historical batches, use report /STTPEC/BATCH_MCH1_CORRthat identifies and corrects discrepancies in cross-plant batch management entries.

Prerequisites

Historical batches to be integrated already exist. Those historical batches are already part of the system and have just been activated, migrated, or otherwise transferred.

Features

A batch is historical if it has a manufacturing date that lies before the start of serialization. The report identifies historical batches in the MCH1definitions that cannot be integrated, which are identified via missing or wrong STTPECfields. If requested, they are displayed as a list before execution.

The planned changes are only displayed in test mode, but fixed in productive mode.

Entries without inconsistencies can be suppressed by selecting the checkbox Display Only Errors.

Selection

  • Material:Specifies the material numbers used for the batches.
  • Batch:Specifies the batch numbers to be considered.
  • Display List:Displays an optional overview of the identified problems in a convenient ALV list.
  • Display Only Errors:Entries without inconsistencies can be hidden by selecting this checkbox.
  • Test Mode:You can select this mode, to only display the planned changes. The errors are fixed only in productive mode.
  • Maximum Number of Updates:You can use this restrict the maximum number of updates.

Standard Variants

Output

For corrected historical batches, the integration is called automatically, if needed.

Activities

If you execute the report, the system is scanned for historical batches with inconsistent cross-plant batch management entries. After updating all discrepancies according to the selection, the result is displayed in a list and saved in the application log, which can be called via transaction SGL1with object /STTPEC/and sub-object Integration.
