/UI2/START_UIAD - Launch SAPUI5 App from UIAD

Purpose

With this report, you can start a UI5 transaction in your web browser.

Integration

Prerequisites

Although the web browser has opened, your UI5 transaction might not be started due to missing configurations or role assignments.

Ensure that the following prerequisites are met:

• The UI5 transaction calls a target mapping that contains no mandatory parameters.

• The target mapping you are trying to call is part of your role assignment.

• Ensure that the intent of your target mapping is unique with regards to your role assignment.

• Ensure that the selected device type is suitable for running the UI5 transaction.

Here's what you can do in case the UI5 transaction doesn't start in your web browser:

• Check in the launchpad app manager if the launchpad app descriptor item is maintained correctly.

• Check in transaction PFCG if the catalog with the corresponding target mapping is part of your role assignment.

• Check if the app authorizations that are required to run the UI5 transaction are assigned.
