Purpose

This report updates the ABAP language version for files in the layered repository (LRep). You can update the ABAP language version for one LRep file or for multiple LRep files.

If you want to update the ABAP language version for a single LRep file you can specify its transport object name in the input field 'Transport object name'. If you want to update the ABAP language version for multiple LRep files you can provide their transport object names as a list (one transport object name per line) in a .txt file that you can specify in field 'Filepath'. Select the desired value for the ABAP language version in field 'ABAP Language Version'. For transported LRep files you also have to provide the the ID of a modifiable workbench or customizing request in field 'Request/Task'.
