Functionality

The database rollback service enables a calling application such as an activity, user interface, or custom application to rollback SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure (SAP AII) database changes that were created or modified by previous calls of any SAP AII core service and saved using the BO save service.

Example

If you write your own user interface to update a physical object or a business transaction document or to create an observation using core service calls, you call the database rollback service when cancelling a transaction .

This core service documentation is intended for technical developers and implementation consultants.

Message Handling

Messages generated by the services are not stored in any application log. It is the responsibility of the calling application to store the application log entries in the relevant application log objects. All the messages that are generated during the service call are returned to the calling application.
