Functionality

This method is used to change interest rate spreads. The method checks whether a data record already exists for the key specified. If this is not the case, an error message is displayed in the 'Return' return parameter. This key consists of the MDCODE, REFRATE and SPRDTYPE parameters.

Possible input parameters are either recorded as fixed values in the system or are checked against the corresponding Customizing settings.

The user must start the commit work command explicitly to trigger final update of the data in the database. This can be done by accessing the BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT function module.

Notes

This method is not relevant in the Account Management (FS-AM component) component.
