Functionality

This Function Module can be used to measure the usage of Commercial Project Management (CPM). In CPM, the number of users using the application is considered as measurement.

Any SAP user who has been assigned to CPM authorization object through PFCG profile, is considered a CPM user, irrespective of the fact that whether the users are really using the application.

This FM returns the number of such users who are currently using CPM till the last financial year. If a user was part of CPM application but CPM authorization is revoked before the last financial year, then those users will not be considered in the measurement. However, if authorization have been revoked during the last financial year will be considered in the measurement.

Below are the instances of revoking CPM authorization:

1. Removing/deactivating CPM authorization objects from a user master profile.

2. Removing of user from user master profile.

3. Deletion of user master profile.

4. Deletion of user.

User validity/block will not affect the count. i.e. if a user was blocked before the last financial year, this user will be still considered as CPM user, since user holds CPM authorization.

The output result of this function module contains the user count for each client in the system and for each application component of CPM.
