Functionality

You use this function module to create, modify or delete a team and its elements in a commercial project. You can manage elements such as the team, the team hierarchy, roles, responsibilities, and members.

This function module must be used with the following inputs:

• Commercial Project ID (/CPD/MP_ID)

• Team and Responsibility Hierarchy (IT_TEAM_RESP_HIERARCHY)

This is a representation of a team hierarchy consisting of nested tables for roles, members, and responsibilities. You must use the attributes TEAM_ID and PARENT_TEAM_ID to represent the parent-child relationships between teams that you wish to maintain.

• (Optional) Validity of team members

In the nested table for members, you may use the START_DATE_API and END_DATE_API fields to manage the duration for which a business partner is assigned to a team.

Steps

The function module does the following:

1. Receives the commercial project ID and the team and responsibility hierarchy as input.
2. Deletes the existing team hierarchy elements (except the root node) based on the commercial project ID.
3. Re-creates the hierarchy based on the provided input.
