Functionality

This function module was generated from the /CWM/BUS15 and the method CONFIRMDECENTRAL for calling the BAPI using ALE.

The function module is executed in the outbound system. It first converts the data from the BAPI parameters to IDoc format. The IDoc is then sent to the relevant receivers, where the BAPI is called.

The function module interface contains all outbound parameters from the corresponding BAPI function module BAPI_INB_DELIVERY_CONFIRM_DEC and also the following parameters, which are used in the ALE layer:

  • SERIAL_ID
This is an input parameter and contains the channel number. It is only used if serialization is active.
  • RECEIVERS
The parameter contains the names of logical systems (receivers) in which the BAPI is called.
  • COMMUNICATION_DOCUMENTS
The return table contains the name of the logical system in the LOGSYS field, the object type in the OBJTYPE field, and the object key in the OBJKEY field. The table indicates that an object of type IDOC was generated with this key in this logical system.
  • APPLICATION_OBJECTS
The input table contains the objects from applications that are processed when the BAPI is called. In the LOGSYS field, you enter the name of the logical system from which the application objects originate. The application objects are identified by object type OBJTYP and object key OBJKEY.
