/DSCSAG/FOL_KEY_GET - Generate a new documentkey for a folder

Functionality

This Function Module generates a new Documentnumber for Folderdocuments.

If Numberrange name and intervall are set. the number will be determined from the numberrange. There are two ways to define the intervall range. Manualy or with help of preference.

Manually: Goto Transaction SNRO and define the range for numberrangeobject you want the numbers get from

With preference: Set the pref in /DSCSAG/PREF - table. prefname =

SAP.PLM.CONTROL.FOLDER.NUMBERRANGE.. = <from>-<to>

Example:

SAP.PLM.CONTROL.FOLDER.NUMBERRANGE./DSCSAG/F1.01 = 00000001-99999999

The Intervall will be created at firs run of the FM.

The documentnumber will be like: _

In case of no use of numberrange a random number(5 digits) will be generated.
