/FRE/DB_DIF_WRITE - Write DIF Occurrence application object (def., occ., ass.)

Functionality

Write function (insert, update, delete) for DIF Occurrence application objects, including DIF Occurrences, assignment and memo.

Features:

• Supports different write options by table:

• Insert records

• Update records

• Delete records

• Updates values of system fields . (Since occurrence fields can be updated by the function before saving the data, they are passed to the function as changing parameter.)

• Set insert user and time stamp for new occurrences, set update user and time stamp for changed occurrences (this applies as well, if only the memo or assignment records of an occurrence were changed).

• Set the correct values for the assignment status and the memo flag of the occurrence depending on whether assignment and occurrence exist, if requested. It is also possible to pass the right values to the function and skip the check.

• The insert mode must be set by the calling application.

• Deletes all assignment records and the memo for deleted occurrence records implicitly (complete DIF Occurrence application object is deleted).

• Returns error records for all entries that could not be inserted because of duplicate keys.

• Optionally updates DIF delta records (should be normally done).
