Functionality

This function module delivers the data listed below on the defined effective date for each contract of the relevant policy. To do this, it calls the /PM0/ABT_CM_GET_CONTRACT_DATA function module for each contract. If no policy issue exists, the application data is delivered.

This is the case when, for the transferred combination of cause of loss/incident type, a lock reason is determined for a contract lock (in Customizing for Policy Management under Integration -> Claims Management FS-CM -> Assign Causes of Loss to Incident Types).

  • Underwriting decision of determination of risk data

The following static product information valid on the generation date is also delivered:

  • Default settings
  • Value ranges/listing values

The service returns this data for the following entities:

  • Policy

  • Contract

  • Coverage package

  • Coverage

  • Fund assignment

The following data is returned:

  • All allowed benefit types/benefit processing profiles by coverage
  • All allowed option agreements
These agreements are read from Customizing for the possible values of the option agreements (in Customizing for Policy Management under Policy Management -> In-Force Business Management -> Life Line of Business -> General Settings -> Define Option Agreements).
  • Distribution plan data from the coinsurance component

Further information

Enhancements

To transfer further data or customer-specific attributes from the standard FS-PM system to FS-CM, use the BAdI /PM0/ABT_CM_GET_POLDAT_BADI. You can use this BAdI to influence the filling of the table parameter BAdI EXTENSIONOUT. You can find this BAdI in Customizing for Policy Management under Integration -> Claims Management FS-CM -> Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) -> Enhancements for RFC Function Modules (Entry and Exit BAdIs) -> BAdI: Data Determination for Policy Snapshot.

Note: To ensure error-free communication of RFC calls and release security, the non-extendable enhancement category was chosen intentionally in the standard SAP release for the used transfer structures of the export parameters (for example /PM0/ABD_CM_POLPR_E for the contract data).
