Functionality

You can use this function module to accept an external change option for insurance policies. In do so doing, all other external change options of the same insurance policy are refused.

The Application Number field is mandatory. The function module refuses all external change options created for the same policy, and it accepts the external change option for which the application number was transferred. If the external change option is successfully accepted, the application is stored in the system as a change request.

The Refusal Reason field is optional. If multiple external change options were created for the chosen policy, the refusal reason with which the external change options that were not accepted are to be refused must be transferred in this field. If it is necessary to refuse external change options, the refusal reason must be transferred.

If successfully accepted, the system returns the following data:

• List of error and status messages (parameter ET_MESSAGE).

This function module executes either all the status changes of the external change options (refusal or acceptance) or it cancels the change with corresponding error messages. No other enhancement options are provided with the function module.
