Functionality
You can use this function module to execute the release of a Reset Application.
The import parameter IV_APPLNR_CD (Application Number) is available for this.
The Application Number field is mandatory. The function module checks the status and executes the release. If the release was successful, the system displays the processing status Calculated and the policy issuance status Released.
If the release was successful, the system returns the following data:
- Number of the released application (parameter EV_APPLNR_CD)
- Number of the released policy (parameter EV_POLICYNR)
- List of error and status messages (parameter ET_MESSAGES)
The function module uses the same release variants as the Reset business process in dialog mode. The function module also executes the customer-specific adjustments on this release run. No other enhancement options are provided with the function module.
For more information, see the parameter documentation. In the function module, choose the Import / Export tab page.
Example
Notes
- The function module can only be executed on applications from the Reinstatement After Lapse Without Gap business transaction.
- The function module can only be called synchronously, therefore the caller must wait until control is returned.
- The function module returns no exceptions. Error messages are listed in export parameter ET_MESSAGE.
