Functionality

Executes the Reinstatement After Lapse Without Gap business transaction of the Reset business process.

The following import parameters are available, and are all to be filled by the caller:

  • Parameter IV_POLICYNR_TT
    The policy number for which the business transaction is to be executed.
  • Parameter IV_APPLIN_DT
    The receipt date of the application for reinstatement.
  • Parameter IV_APPL_DT
    The date of the application for reinstatement.
  • Parameter IF_SIMULATION, IF_SAVE, and IF_RELEASE
    By setting a single parameter of the three parameters to ABAP_TRUE, you specify whether you want to
  • Run a simulation

  • Save the application, or

  • Immediately release the application

The results are returned through the following export parameters:

  • Parameter EV_APPLNR_CD
    The application number that is created as a result of the business transaction (apart from simulation mode, where no persistently saved application is created).
  • Parameter ET_MESSAGES
    All types of messages that are raised during the execution of the function module.
  • Parameter ET_PREM_OVERVIEW
  • Parameter ET_PREM_OVERVIEW_BY_COV
  • Parameter EN_ERROR_CD

Example

Notes

  • The function module can only be called synchronously, therefore the caller must wait until control is returned.
  • The function module returns no exceptions. Error messages are listed in export parameter ET_MESSAGE.
