Functionality

You use this function module to execute a model calculation. This function module calculates model values according to the application number and contract key. There are multiple ways to calculate the values for different scenarios, for example scenarios with or without adjustment, within the framework of a pessimistic or optimistic evaluation.

The input parameters are listed below.

  • Application number (parameter IV_APPLICATION_NUMBER): This parameter is mandatory.
  • Contract key (parameter IV_POLICYPRODUCT_ID): This parameter is mandatory.
  • Adjustment indicator (parameter IV_ADJUSTMENT_FG)
  • Anniversary for model calculation (parameter IV_ANNIVERSARY)
  • Payout date (parameter IV_PAYOUTDATE)
  • Fund performance rate (parameter IT_FPERF)
  • Extension-In (parameter IT_EXTENSIONIN)

The system returns the following data:

  • Results for all performance scenarios (parameter ET_PROJECTION)
  • List of error and status messages (parameter ET_MESSAGE)
  • Results for aggregated performance scenario (parameter AGGRG_SCENARIO)
  • Extension-Out (parameter ET_EXTENSIONOUT)

Choose SAP Policy Management > Application Help > Policy Management > In-Force Business Management > Execute Model Calculation.

Enhancements

To process further data from the calling system, use the Business Add-In (BAdI) BAdI: Execute Model Calculation (Extension In/Out)(/PM0/ABT_SVC_MODEL_CALC_BADI). You can use this BAdI to execute your own mapping and to fill the EXTENSIONOUT parameter.

Further Settings -> BAdI: Execute Model Calculation (Extension In/Out).
