/PM0/ABT_SVC_POL_JOUR_READ - Read Policy Journal

Functionality

You use this function module to read a contract journal on the basis of the policy number.

You can also decide whether additional journal entries for the Change Contract business transaction are to be considered in the search result by using import parameter IF_PPD_AMD_JOUR_FG.

The system returns the following data:

• Search result list (parameter ET_POLICY_JOURNAL):

The search result contains key journal information, such as the policy key and journal number.

• List of error and status messages (parameter ET_MESSAGE):

If input or processing errors occur, the system returns error messages.

Notes

The function accesses other systems in order to get business partner information.

If a runtime error occurs, you can call the application log with transaction SLG1.

Enhancements

To process further data from the calling system, use the Business Add-In (BAdI) BAdI: Read Policy Journal (Extension Out)(/PM0/ABT_SVC_POLJOUR_READ_BADI). You can use this BAdI to execute your own mapping and to fill the EXTENSIONOUT parameter.
