/PM0/ABT_SVC_POL_READ - Read Insurance Policy

Functionality

You use this remote-enabled function module (RFM) to read an insurance policy.

You must enter the policy number. You can also enter the effective date or the journal number, but not both.

If only the data of a single contract of an insurance policy is required, you can enter the contract number to restrict the search.

You can use transmission request codes to influence the scope of the RFM data returned to the caller for a node or its subnodes. For more information, see the documentation of parameter IS_REQUESTED_ELEMENTS on the Import tab. The RFM only supports the transmission request codes that are executed in the field help for Transmission Request Codes. If you want to use other transmission request codes, contact SAP.

Further information

To process further data from the calling system, use the Business Add-In (BAdI) BAdI: RetrieveInsurancePolicy_v2 (Extension In/Out)(/PM0/ABT_SVC_POL_RTRV_BADI). You can use this BAdI to execute your own processing and to fill the EXTENSIONOUT parameter.

Policy -> BAdI: RetrieveInsurancePolicy_v2 (Extension In/Out).
