Functionality

This function determines the data from the characteristics containers specified in IT_CHARACT_ID and returns it in the tables ET_CHARACT_REQ (for containers with characteristic requirements) or ET_CHARACT_VAL (for containers with characteristic value assignments).

ET_RC returns a separate return code for each container with processing errors.
