Functionality

You can use this BAPI to make a mass change to postprocessing orders.

You enter the postprocessing orders to be changed and the new values for the changeable fields in the parameter ALLOWEDUPDATEFIELDS. Note that you must enter the old contents of fields that are not to be changed. For more information, see the documentation for the parameter.

You can determine the old values for changeable fields using the BAPIs: /SAPPO/BAPI_ORDER_GET_DETAIL or /SAPPO/BAPI_ORDER_GET_DETAILS

Notes

Authorization check

The system determines the combination of component and business process for all the postprocessing orders to be changed, and checks whether the activity A8 is allowed for the combination.

Customer enhancements

A Business Add-In (BAdI) is available for this method. It can be found in the implementation guide (IMG) for the Postprocessing Office under Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) -> BAdIs for BAPIs-> BAdI for Mass Change of Postprocessing Orders by BAPIs.

For more information about customer enhancements, see the SAP Library under Cross-Application Components -> Business Framework Architecture (CA-BFA) -> Further Development, Modifications -> Customer Enhancement and Modification of BAPIs -> Customer Enhancement of BAPIs.

Confirmations

Messages are returned in the return parameter. For information about return values and their meaning, see the parameter list documentation.

Further information

For more information on postprocessing orders, see the SAP Library under SAPNetWeaver-> Application Platform (SAP Web Application Server) -> Cross Services -> Postprocessing Office (CA-GTF-TS-PPO).
