Functionality

Flexible data retrieval from the event handlers: this function module allows for queries against event handler header table fields, EH extension table fields, EH info and control parameters, tracking IDs, query IDs, expected event information, and event message information. For example, this function module allows you to carry out queries as 'all containers with Material YXZ and status IN TRANSIT '.

This function module returns a list of GUIDs only, and is meant to be used by applications that need the EH GUIDs for further processing.

The user can decide whether the selection into the EH database will follow a standard procedure or tailored selection strategy, hard coded in a customizable plug-in function. This choice is entered through the optional input variables CUSTOMIZEDSELECTION, which tells whether or not a customizing function is used, and SELECTIONFUNCTION, the name of the function. The function name must not necessarily be passed through the interface: it can be statically associated to the user

The criteria that can be used as filters for selecting the EH GUIDss are contained in table SELECTIONFIELDS.

The results are saved in the following tables

EVENTHANDLERGUIDS: GUIDs of the event handlers matching the selection criteria

EVENTHANDLERSETS: corresponding EH Sets

EHSETSTATUS: Status of the EH Sets
