Functionality

This interface is used for mass changing of EWM delivery quantities as a result of a

  • Quantity reduction in CRM sales order(s)
  • Rearrangement of confirmation in SCM APO

The Outbound Delivery Change Quantity Multiple works not on delivery header level but on item level. This means that the function interface contains only lines with delivery number, item number and the quantities. The function divides each item into two groups - change possible and change not possible.

As a result of the quantity change the following two system responses are possible:

  • ACCEPT: quantity could be changed in EWM. The quantity change will be communicated asynchronously to ERP later via the outbound confirm message.
  • REJECT: quantity could not be changed in EWM (e.g. delivery is already in execution status). The rejected quantity change will be immediately communicated synchronously to ERP.
