/SMB/BB_GET_HEADER - Get Building Block Header Data by a Building Block ID

Functionality

This function module expects the ID of an existing Building Block and optionally an ISO language key as input. It then returns the Building Block header data in the same format that is also used to create or update a Building Block. If IV_ISO_LANGUAGE is specified correctly (language key know to SAP system), only descriptions in this language are returned, if available. If IV_ISO_LANGUAGE is not specified, all available descriptions are returned.

The Building Block’s header data as well as messages regarding the status of the request are returned in the form of DDIC types as well as in xml format.
