Functionality

The /STDF/USAGE_ANALYTICS Function module is a usage date collector for Focused Insights and Focused Build dashboards.

This function module accepts the start and the end date for the reporting period as an interface parameter.

Since we have to return a usage indicator for each dashboard, we pass a table as export parameter.

In the following, you can find explanation about the export table fields:

,,ID1: It is set to "SM_INFO", this distinguishes SolMan usage data.

,,ID2: It is a concatenation of the solution_id and the dashboard_id.

,,CNT: This a flag that indicates if the field RESS1 refers to the number of usages or to the number of users or the number of distinct users per license.

,,RESS1: It is the integer usage/users count, how many times a dashboard has been used if CNT = 1 or how many users used a dashboard if the CNT = 2. If CNT = 3 refers to the number of distinct users per license.

,,RESI1: It is set to -1 when a dashboard is used and 0 when it is not used.

,,FLAG: It is set to "T" because the measurement is time-dependent.

,,DATE1: The start date of the period for which usage is being measured.

,,DATE2: The end date of the period for which usage is being measured.
