Functionality

With this function module it is possible to call the standard BOMBOS interface in order to process subsequent (nested) BOMs.

The function module call is event-triggered. It will be called when a BOM was changed in transactions CS01 and CS02.

To register the event for this function module, perform the following steps:

a) Call transaction FIBF. You see the screen SAP Business Framework: Business Transaction Event .

b) In the menu select Settings -> P/S function modules -> ...of an SAP appl.

and create the following entries:

In order to process BOMs recursive, that means with subsequent (nested BOMs), in the EH&S environmental parameter the following entry has to be maintained: BOMBOS_RECURSIVE = 'X'

For the BOM explosion the BOMBOS standard filter and stop criteria are taken into account (IMG activity: Interfaces -> Bill of Material Transfer-> Specify Selection Criteria for Worklist ). Additionaly a user-specific stop function module can be defined in the environmental parameter BOMBOS_STOP_FM. The interface of the user-specific function module has to be the same as the interface of the standard filter function 'C1L2_BOM_CHK_FOR_BOS'.The export parameter 'E_GENERATE_BOS_FLG'gives back the result of the filter function.
