Use
Table T5UCP_STATE is used to store the permissibility of common paymaster relationships at the state level. As delivered, this table provides an accurate overview of the permissibility of common paymaster relationships among the fifty states at the time of delivery. However, as time passes and legislation changes, additional maintenance may be required to ensure that your system has an accurate record of the permissibility of common paymaster relationships from state to state.
Maintenance
Table T5UCP_STATE stores the following data to indicate the permissibility of common paymaster relationships at the state level.
- State
The two-letter designation of U.S. states, commonwealths (the Northern Mariana Islands and Puerto Rico), territories (American Samoa, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands), and the District of Columbia.
- Description
The corresponding text description for the U.S. state, commonwealth, territory or district.
- Start date and End date
These fields define a period of permissibility or impermissibility for common paymaster relationships in the corresponding tax authority, depending upon whether the CP Allowed checkbox is active.
- CP Allowed
This checkbox indicates whether common paymaster relationships are permitted in the indicated state during the specified time period.
If the checkbox is active, then the corresponding state permits common paymaster relationships during the time period indicated.
If the checkbox is inactive, then the corresponding state does not permit common paymaster relationships during that period.
