| One of four parameters (see also %%cpuid/trunc_size%%, |
| %%cpuid/behind_last%% and %%cpuid/before_first%% ), which are used |
| to control how long external server names are converted to R/3 |
| servers IDs. |
| |
| If necessary, the long computer name is taken out of a longer |
| network address name using separators. The permitted length is in |
| %%cpuid/trunc_size%%. If the name is still too long, |
| it must be truncated on the left or right side. |
| The side used depends on the naming conventions for the other |
| servers and must be chosen so that the resulting names are unique. |
