| dynp/trans_id_format defines the format of the LUW ID. Among other |
| things, this is used within the SAP kernel as an update key, and is |
| a Universal Unique Identifier (UUID). |

| The possible values are: |
| |
| 1 The LUW ID has the UUID format used elsewhere in SAP R/3 |
| 2 The LUW ID is created using parameter |

| This parameter does not normally need to be changed. However, there |
| are database systems (DB2 on OS/390) for which format 2 is better. |
