| To resolve deadlocks, a server can dynamically start work processes, |
| (see parameter %%rdisp/wp_max_no%% ). |
| Processes that are dynamically generated in this way are normally |
| ended again once the risk of deadlock no longer exists and the |
| process is no longer in use. However, this can take a very long time |
| on servers with a large workload. You can therefore use this |
| parameter to set a time limit. If the "lifetime" of a dynamic |
| process exceeds this limit, it is ended as soon as it is not |
| processing a request. |
