| If this parameter has a value, n, that is not equal to 0, the |
| server opens an additional port (port number n) in addition to its |
| port sapms<SID>. This additional port is only used for internal |
| communication with the application servers. |
| This port must also be used for logging on to an application server, |
| otherwise the logon is rejected. |

| In this case, only queries can be performed using the normal |
| sapms<SID> port. The load balancing function and the fetching of the |
| application server lists and logon groups remains |
| unaffected by this. |
| This allows you to achieve a separation of the communication types |
| of the message server. |
| |
| Different data channels isare used for internal communication and |
| external communication. External clients only have read-access to |
| the information. |
| |
| The value 0 means that no internal port is used. |
| This is also the default setting. |
| |
| Caution: |
| You need to define this parameter centrally, and it must be |
| identical on all application servers. |
