| Dispatching of update requests works in accordance with a very |
| simple procedure: |
| - Each application server manages a list of active update servers |
| and the configured update work processes |
| - Each update server with the suitable context is dynamically |
| assigned the update requests generated (refer to parameter |
| %%rdisp/vb_context%% or %%rdisp/vb2_context%% ). |
| - In a dispatching loop, all update processes are assigned exactly |
| one update request. After each assignment, the update server is |
| changed. Therefore within a dispatching loop, a server is |
| assigned as many update requests as update work processes were |
| configured for it. |
| You can use parameter rdisp/vb_factor to influence the relevant |
| number of update work processes for dispatching, for example to |
| assign more update requests to very fast servers. The relevant |
| number for dispatching is the product of the current number of |
| update work processes and the value of rdisp/vb_factor. |

| After the processing of the V1 part of an update request, the V2 |
| part is dispatched in the same way. |
