| ON: The work processes on an application server notify each other |
| if the database was restarted on a |
| standby database server. This ensures that |
| not all work processes receive an error when the primary |
| database server goes down and can therefore reconnect to the |
| standby database server without errors. |
| Prerequisite: The standy database server must be available |
| at the same IP address (IP label) as the |
| unavailable primary database server. |
| (-> IP address switchover). |
| |
| OFF: The feature described above is deactivated. This should be the |
| setting when no standby database server is installed and |
| no IP address switch over software is installed for the |
| database service. |
