| The SCSA is a shared memory area that is used by basis components |
| such as system log, trace, and so on. |
| Depending on the operating system, this area is either |
| is created as an independent shared memory area, or as area no. 5 |
| in the SAP IPC interface. The area can either be created as an |
| independent area by each SAP program, or be transferred from the |
| independent program 'sapmscsa'. |

| operating system (for example, UNIX) |
| %%scsa/shm/file%% is the name for the SCSA with regard to the |

| %%scsa/shm/start%% is the default value for the initial address in |
| the virtual memory. |
