| This parameter is only relevant if the Virtual Machine Container |
| (VMC) is active. |

| The exceed counter of the shared garbage collector specifies how |
| often a memory bottleneck could not be resolved by the SGC. If this |
| occurs frequently, it indicates that too little memory is configured |
| in principle, or that the existing memory has been divided in an |
| unfavorable way. You therefore need to check the configuration in |
| situations of this type. |

| So that the system does not constantly trigger SGCs in this |
| situation and therefore disrupt processing in principle, you can use |
| this parameter to define a limit. If the SGC exceed counter exceeds |
| this limit, the VMC is deactivated. You can view this situation with |
| transaction SM52 and it is also recorded in the system log. |
| |
| The value 0 deactivates this check. |
