What is Temporary Storage Explanation

Dear Robert,

Check this temp storage formula:
(try to) Read 120.000 SD sales orders using a BAPI -> temp storage increases to
197 GB (GIGA Byte!)
Otherwise my eperience is that after a week of (normal) production runs, it
grows to about 12 GB, sometimes 20 GB per SAP system.
It disappears after SAP is stopped, or after you kill the separate work
processes that holds the largest temp storage.

Hope to don't scare your boss too much with this formula.
