Hi Crosby!SAP did a "real good job" there int he marketplace! Everything what is
useful is hidden now and every advertisment and other useless things are on
the desktop!
For the service-connection the shortcut would be:
http://service.sap.com/serviceconnection
(when you found an interesting site, you can and should add this to your
favorites, then you can access it the next time a lot faster.)
In order to reach a useful complete solution, you could access all the
useful things that belong to the OSS-messages, service-connection, notes and
so on via the "System Admin" icon in the right top.
When you think you always need this instead of the rest you should use the
"change"-button a bit more left and then you could add all the missing but
always needed things. I would suggest to move them then to the top. When you
then logon again, you will have them viewable in front of you. When you then
use the favorite-technique as well, it is really convinient.
