Printing Eurosign

Hi,

We are trying to print the Eurosign via SAP frontend printing using note
129581 as our guideline. We, however, are not entirely successful in this
respect.
We are at R/3 46C Gui 46D with recent enough SAPLPD. We are printing via
SAPWIN device
The Eurosign is defined in SAP code page at location X'80'.
We can type in and see the eurosign in the SAPSCRIPT editor, but when in
print preview mode the eurosign is translated to Ø sign. This sign is also
printed. The Ø sign is at X'80' in EBCDIC codepages 37 and 500, but this may
be an coincidence.

Has someone succeeded in printing the eurosign? If so, how?
