For a no cost solution - it works well; we are working out the logistics details

You could let the clp check file TBTCO to check f.ex. fields
STATUS (A= job cancel), JOBNAME, ENDDATE, ENDTIME
If you make the clp run every minute you can check system value qsystim
against the endtime.
