Hello Everyone,
We are in the process of preparing a business case for upgrading to version
4.6. I know that several of you have been through this process already,
and I was wondering where I can get some information for our ROI analysis.
For example, statistics on user productivity improvements, which can then
be translated into dollars. I'm also looking for nonfinancial benefits.
At this point, hardware seems to be the biggest expense. We need to
replace two application servers (SB1 -> SB2) and more than likely upgrade
our database server (830 2-way -> 4-way). The next largest expense will be
education, and the consulting will be minimal because we plan to use
internal resources. Based on your experiences, does this seem to be on
target?
