Hi Jerry,when you are on 3.1H with 3.1I kernel, you have to use a 3.1I kernel up to
the point of time that you do an upgrade of the database to 4.6x. Then you
can use the 4.6D kernel.
As you have to use 3.1I kernel and you are on v4r4, you should immediately
change to the 100% compatible 3.1I_COM kernel as only this one gets patched
further.
When you are then at least on patch 604, you can do the OS upgrade to V5R1
without any problems.
