LODR3KRN fails

Hello Kurt,
yes, your're right.
Sorry, I didn't recognize first, that "call r3<SID>400/r3inlpgm" sets the
correct library list for secofr.
I've tested your approach in the meantime on my PRD-System and all went
well. But APYR3KRN was only executed one time.
The cause why LODR3KRN fails was exactly JIM's suggestion of incorrect
ownership of the Kernel-Library. It should be the R3OWNER.
Many thanks again for all your input.
kind regards
Karl

Volker,

Karl is talking about APYR3KRN, not APYR3FIX. I run it exactly in the order
in
the document and under QSECOFR in order not to get authorisation problems. I
still think that FIXR3OWNS should be the last step in any case. That cleans
up
authorities stuffed by the other commands.

Kurt

Hi Karl,

To 1)
It shouldn't matter, but you are on the save site if you are using QSECOFR.
As soon as the SIDOFR or R3OWNER or R3GROUP has the the special authority
*SAVSYS it works definitely for the SAVLIB with the SIDOFR as well. As we
are having Owner-Pgms in the kernel, these become set to general authority
*NONE because of security reasons when restored with the SIDOFR. But
FIXR3OWNS (with QSECOFR) afterwards would fix this.

To 2)
Before!
This is in order to correct things beforeso that APYR3FIX doesn't fail
afterwards.

With the doucment, the best is, you write Kurt in detail what is wrong
there, then he will change this document, when there is an error.

Regards

Volker
