Hope it goes well! Are you using FTP? 3480/3570/3590? If it is critical,
we initialized the tapes with the CLEAR option, I believe, to spin all the
way through them the first time, then cleaned the drives several times.

We will set up the new box with the same host name and IP address as the
old machine. I like the tip for using the CLEAR option and cleaning the
drives is always good advice.
