Hi,the question is: What failed with the 3.1I_COM ?
I would suppose, to install the 3.1I_COM and try this approach.
Otherwise you could use the note 36862 in order to copy the system.
This is similar to the 4.6B version in the web at:
"http://groups.consolut.net/group/SAP on System i/files/Database%20Copy%20as%20of%
2046B.htm"
Because of speed, most customers use an approach like this instead of the
3.1I_COM r3dbcpy.r3s.
