DB2 Locking

We use ODBC for a wharehouse application (scanning and printing shipping
lables).
The overhead is not noticable, but we are reading and writing to customer
'Z' tables.

Any chance they can get the tables they need from your backup tapes??
I do not think you would want to be copying large amounts of data from you
sap production files. Perhaps someone else on this forum is doing that
and can give you a better idea of the impact on the system.
