R/3 connection to external email.
Hello Charlie,Our Comapny is also currently looking for a solution to be able to e-
mail documents from SAP to customers & vendors. We don't need to
receive mail only to send it. I had a look at note 109237 and looked
at all notes in the component area BC-SRV-COM-INT, but alas I'm still
as confused.
Do you know if there is any better documentation available? How long
did it take you to configure, the SAP connect and all the other
parts. What mailing program did you use? The document I found
mentions AnyMail/400 but then other parts of the document says that
the computer on which you install the Internet Mail Gateway Server
must not have the same system platform as the R/3 application server.
We are at 46C and have the 46D Kernel and are pretty much up to date
with support packs.
Any help or pointers on this would be much appreciated,
