File size in IFS
Hello Volker,
We have now OS/400 V4R5M0 and SAP 4.0B and the 2 Gb limits exists like you
says (IBM document number 19690531).
But we are thinking to upgrade our OS/400 to V5R1 and with the same SAP
4.0B (with kernel 4.0B_COM and patches to run in V5R1).
In the version V5R1 (document number 23931042) the limit is 256Gb.
The files greater than 2Gb with SAP 4.0B and OS/400 V5R1 still can not
create in the IFS during an export client ?
It is possible to make a client export with this recomendation provided by
Alessandro Furasi
when your file is 2GB, export stoped, you can restart export and it
restarted from where after it termined, so until the end of export.
This create several RTxxx... files in the transport directory until the end
of the export and after this , can I import these files one after other?
