DBSL patch level vs. Kernel patch level - stupid question

I know this has been discussed previously; sorry about the redundancy!!!

If we are running KERNEL patch level 706;
can I safely deduce that we are running the most current DBSL since it is last
tagged at 638 even if we DID NOT specifically get/obtain the DBSL patch on an
individual basis?

I'm still not clear as to whether we need to ADDITIONALLY PATCH all the other
objects contained in the kernel library which have patches on SAPSERVx
separately from just applying kernel patch?

Example below...the KERNEL.info does not have a tag line for (0.558); it goes
from .557 to .560
When we ONLY GRAB the Kernel patch at level 706; does the most current DBSL come
along too?
