File size in IFS
The follow is from note 73779 regarding stmf and the 2gb limit -As of the R/3 Release 4.5A, the problem can be solved by setting the
tp parameter 'filesplit' appropriately - in accordance with
instructions that are contained in Note 86535. You can use this
parameter to prevent that R3trans from creating files that are
larger than 2GB.
As of Release 4.0A large clients can be transferred with a remote
copy. A prerequisite is that the Repositories of both systems
correspond and that no cross-client data has to be imported. To
start a remote copy, transaction SCC9.
This may help if you are not exporting the client for migration etc.
A Database copy may fufill your needs if the purpose of the export is
to create another instance.
