Hi all,when you are going to install V5R1 (or have it already installed), you
definitely should have a look to the note 392165 that is written (and will
become updated) only for this purpose. So, you can participate in knowing
"known problems" already beforehand.
Especially interesting is the note 444524 that describes SQL0913 with
DBIF_DSQL2_SQL_ERROR. There you can see, that everybody on V5R1 should use
the following command once after the upgrade for every Data-Library when the
SAP-system is down (in batch, because it takes some time; one customer used
e.g. about 40 minutes for this command) :
STROBJCVN LIB(R3<SID>DATA) OBJTYPE(*FILE)
IBM tries to reduce the time of the OS/400 release-change and trades this
with doing parts of the conversion when the objects are used first.
This procedure with STROBJCVN is necessary, because parts of the "conversion
at first touch" are done later and will then cancel with SQL0913 because the
the ODPs of other WPs are already open on these objects.
