Hi SAPlings!You do not have to Stop/StartSAP and touch the profile directly to enjoy
class A.
It is sufficient to change it in the operation mode(s) using RZ04, save the
op modes
and then switch modes using RZ03 (even if you only have one single mode).
We have been juggling with the DIA/BTC distribution and the number of BTC-A
for a long time. Works fine.

Ariel, define one of the processes as class A (BTCA) in your profile
paramters. You then have to change your op mode distribution so that it
sees it . When you set up the background job in sm36 the job class
should be A
oh don't forget the stopsap and startsap bits.

We have 10 BGD work processes defines in our R3. (4.6C).
I want sum of them to have the highest priority, in order to run
programs which have to run all time.
How do i define the priority for one of them ?
How do i define a job that start to run whem the system starts and runs
all the time in one of the high-priority BGD ?
